Let’s face it: Glee has been a little “eh” lately, and sometimes you crave the kind of budget-challenged but insightful entertainment that only local programming can provide. Luckily VPTV plans to roll out several new shows. Among the new lineup of programs you’ll find Villa Park Report, a segment produced by community volunteers that showcases important city events. Bonus: Chances are good that you’ll be able to point enthusiastically at your TV at some point and proclaim, “Hey! That’s my neighbor’s shrub in the background!” or “I had McNuggets there yesterday!” You won’t be able to say that during your next viewing of The Office.
VPTV can be seen on Channel 3 on Time Warner, Channel 99 on AT&T U-verse, or via Villa Park's official website. For more info and the current VPTV programming schedule click here: http://www.villapark.org/vptv3.html
